Spring is one of Capt. James' favorite times of the year to target Snook in Sarasota Bay. As our winter cold fronts subside and water temperatures begin to rise. Snook will make their way out of the creeks and rivers and onto the shallow grassflats, oyster bars, and mangrove islands. This is the beginning of their long journey to the beaches and passes where they will spawn during the Summer.
